Welcome everyone to our 2010 Season of Florida Goal-Liners! Our Executive Board is very excited about our NEW Streamlined Club as we begin our 31st year.
We will continue to enjoy our traditional Closed Practice / Tailgate Party – Homecoming Float – Dessert Party and our Fashion Show! We felt that until our membership grows we would put all of our best efforts into our ‘trademark’ activities – the ones we love and the Coaches – players and community remember us by.
Let me go over our NEW Game Plan for this year –
We have reduced our membership dues by $10.00. Our NEW dues will be $30.00. Our membership period is based on the calendar year – Jan 1st – Dec 31st. Membership begins upon full payment of your annual dues of $30.00 and will end on Dec 31st of that same year.
We will meet once a month on the 4th Thursday of every month at the Gateway Grand Best Western – the same location where we hold our Fashion Show – starting in February *** THE FEBRURARY MEETING WILL TAKE PLACE ON WEDNESDAY – FEBRUARY 24th – NOT THE 4th THURSDAY – ONLY FOR FEBRUARY ! ! ! ! !
We will meet at 6:00pm in the restaurant for a brief business meeting and to sign our Spirit Banners!
We will not have guest speakers at our business meeting – although we may have a SURPRISE Dinner Guest drop by occasionally!
MORE EXCITING NEWS - The Fighting Gator Touchdown Club has extended an invitation for us to join their Club also. They meet every month on the 4th Thursday of every month – except for their February meeting which will be held on Wednesday – February 24th – the 3rd Thursday of the month – in the off season – and once a week during the season – in the Ballroom of the Gateway Grand Best Western. As some of you may know already – the FGTC has wonderful guest speakers – great raffles – BBQ’s – lots of fun tournaments – and much – much more! I hope y’all are as excited about our NEW year as we are! Our Executive Board will be meeting with our committee chairs next Thursday @ 6:00 before the FGTC’s first monthly meeting of 2010. Shane Mathews will be the guest speaker that night and the meeting begins at 7:30.
